I was looking at the fees page, at the very bottom
Board of Registered Nursing - Fees

ICHP Visa Screen

$60

Verification of CA RN Licensure

What is that ICHP Visa Screen? Is this the same as the Visa Screen from CGFNS?
Thanks.

Yes it is. ICHP is the International Commission on Healthcare Professionals which is CGFNS International division

So if I already passed the NCLEX and then need a Visa screen, I don't need to send transcript to cgfns for the visa screen? In lieu of that is california's ICHP visa screen?
Do ALL states have ICHP visa screen service?
Thank you.
No CGFNS is the only agency that issues via screen certificate. Most states will charge a small fee for verifying to CGFNS that you have passed NCLEX. In most cases if you have already dealt with CGFNS then they can use the same documents for VSC
So even if I've passed the NCLEX but have never dealt with CGFNS, I'm still required to send my original transcript to process the visa screen? I see. Thank you.
Correct as the vsc is proof to the US government that your training meets US training and meets the requirements set down for vsc
