Hi everyone ! I couldn’t find a thread for Caldwell University so here it is ! I sent in my application and I was very happy to see it didn’t require as many pre reqs as other ABSN schools in jersey. Does anyone know much information about the program ? Feel free to chat !
Veralda,
I'm also waiting for someone who is attending Caldwell! I hope we both find someone in our respective programs soon! ?
Jass001, the same thing happened to me as Veralda, they started spamming my phone. I heard mixed reviews. I have heard it is a good program, but one nurse I know told me that she has coworkers who attended Felician and they complained about lack of support from their administration. Seems like the program itself is good!

Same. I’m sure as the days go by more and more people will show up in the thread.
@kdm115 hey ! I think I might be accepting Caldwell ! I just wanted to know how you thought about the financial aid. I received the package talking about it . I was just wondering if like we only pay one year of tuition? Or should we look at it in terms of just per semester ? It’s just hard to tell how things will go down in terms of the bill.
@vespin98 Yay! That's exciting. Let me know if you end up enrolling! I completed the FAFSA application a few weeks ago and I'm still currently waiting to see what aid the school may provide (not expecting much to be honest. I've been told it is generally more difficult to receive aid for a second bachelor's - but let me know if I'm wrong!).
What I do know is that even though the program is 16 months, the total cost of the program will be equal to 2 years since the program is a total of 4 semesters. In terms of the timing of billing, I assume we pay each semester's tuition prior to the semester starting.
@Veralda Simeon I will definitely be taking out loans but I'll probably find out more once the school reaches out to me about my aid eligibility. According to my FAFSA application which has been processed, they say that the school has to review the application and then they will inform me what aid I am eligible for and what I owe them. Then I think based on that I can see how much of a loan I need to take out for the first semester or year. I'm thinking the process should be the same for FDU! If you haven't had a chance to yet, I'd say fill out the FAFSA first.

I’m seeing what I get in loans but I don’t know th exact amount the program is
@kdm115 I was given an institutional grant per year. So that lowered it by half for a year. But I did not know you pay for 2 years. hmm is that for most schools?I got accepted to the saint Peters program and I am not sure what to do yet. Saint Peters is cheaper in that case but with the grant from caldwell I think it will come out to be roughly the same. but caldwell still more by a couple thousands....

Did you submit deposit for saint peters ? That was due a while ago I believe ... unless you just got accepted ?
@Veralda Simeon yes I submitted the deposit for saint Peters because at the time I did not receive anything from caldwell. But I am still deciding for which one officially.
