Hey guys! Are there any individuals here applying for CSUN's ABSN program for the Summer/Fall 2013? I'm currently applying and would love to hear from those who are into this as well. I'm still finishing up my prerequisites this Fall 2012 but I'll be submitting my application soon. Just reply to this topic to share/discuss anything about the application process...hopefully we all see this to the home-stretch next year :)

Provisional just means that you are accepted as long as you complete any incomplete tasks and as long as the Nursing department accepts you.

Hey everyone,

Do any of you know whether Cultural Anthropology fulfills the Intro to Sociology prerequisite? I'm kind of freaking out because I thought I received an email confirmation stating that Cult Anthro was okay, but I looked back on my emails today and it was from a different school. :no:

I emailed --------------- a while ago about this course equivalency, but she hasn't responded.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Just e-mail her again about that course equivalency; I know it's Soc 1 that they normally require, but you may be able to substitute that anthropology course to fulfill that requirement. She's perhaps the only person now who can give you a definitive answer, since it may take a longer time if you ask the Nursing dept. You can try giving her a call, which would hopefully speed up the process :)

Received the university admission letter today. But still need to wait the nursing department admission to make it official

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you all know I went to the nursing dept to turn something in and the lady at the desk said they would not be conducting any interviews this year. Also, they will be sending out letters letting us know whether we got in or didn't get into the program in early April.

The waiting continues....!
