I applied for the summer 18' cohort but didn't get in cuz my points were too low. I applied again for the Fall 18' cohort, I retook my TEAS to get some more points and finishing up a couple classes in mid to late April that should hopefully bring me up 5-6 points. Im just hoping that I can get the grades in time to still be considered for the Fall cohort.

I just realized they had already sent me my evaluation via email. I didn't realize it was the point assessment/evaluation, I thought it was just showing I had completed the prerequisite courses. Now just time to wait and see if I get in!!

Hi everyone, I sent my application for consideration into the Fall 2018 cohort. I sent everything in on time, but on myCSUSM it still has one of my transcripts as initiated ): Is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone gotten their evaluations? Thanks!

Not gonna lie was not super great, it was somewhere around 24 points. I had a good TEAS score and a good pre nursing GPA but my last 60 GPA is kinda what put me behind a bit. But if I can get these classes in it'll bump me up at least another 5-8 points depending on if i get an A or a B.

Got my evaluation (about 5 weeks after I sent in my application). The advisor said they will start sending out the first wave of acceptances by the end of next week or the following week. Then, two and a half weeks after the first wave is over will be the second wave of acceptances.

I don't get it, but I submitted my application around mid Feb and it was considered complete within a week or so, but I still haven't received my evaluation. I've contacted them and they said I will receive it soon and they have everything for my application. but it's just weird since other people got their evaluations already. Thanks for that info @ultralightbeam !! hopefully we all get good news soon :)

hey! I'm on the same boat as you @inkabruce, I turned in my application late january for fall 2018 and I didn't get an evaluation... we're we supposed to contact them for one or do they send one automatically after they process the application as complete?

@dex97 no, we're not supposed to follow up. I did just because I was curious as to what was going on and they assured me they have all my info and will send the evaluation soon. The only reasons I can think of are some advisers are faster than others, or they want to wait to complete all the evaluations to determine point distributions.

They should send it automatically. I went to an info meeting in the Fall of 2017, and at that time since they weren't near the deadline, my evaluation only took about a week. When I finished my application last month, all they had to do was update it with my last two courses I completed, so they just did the evaluation right now. So I'm sure since it was close to the deadline, they have a lot of applications to go through.
