Hello everyone!
If you're as antsy as I am, this is the thread for you. The submission deadline is this Monday at 8:59PM, so I wanted to open up the thread for this year's applicants. If my research is correct, we should be hearing back in mid-late January about interviews, which feels like an eternity at this point. In the meantime, I'm hoping that this thread can serve to be a great place to ask questions and let go of some of the anxiety that comes with waiting to hear back. I look forward to meeting and hearing from some of my fellow applicants. If you get into any other schools, I would personally love to hear about that too! God Bless everyone and may we all get the good news that we are hoping and praying for. :)
For anyone that has been accepted into this year's ELMSN program at Cal Baptist, make sure to add yourself to our group on Facebook. I've already posted the first tip for our cohort and I plan for us to utilize the page throughout our time at Cal Baptist so that we can all communicate with each other. We already have 10% of our cohort on there, but I'm hoping we can get everyone before we start. The Facebook group is called Cal Baptist ELMSN 2018. There is also a page, but don't worry about the page, just request to be added to the group.
Hey guys! Hoping somehow I get replies! I am currently working on my application and it's due oct 1st, hoping to get into the 2019 elmsn cohort. I am feeling very overwhelmed though and don't feel like I'm a strong applicant. I hold a 2.8 gpa (under the required) but I am retaking some of my science pre reqs currently in hopes of a better grade. My last 60 units of my undergrad are outstanding however. I know they focus a lot on you as a person rather than just the numbers but do you guys have any advice for me regarding this whole process? Do you think I have a chance?

I truly cannot wait to meet you all. I plan on getting there around 115pm. I'm tall and I will have on a pants suit and a bun in my hair. I'd love to chit chat beforehand to calm our nerves. I hope you all rest well tonight! See you tomorrow!!
