Hey There,
I am running into an issue in training. The skills steps listed in our book are apparently not state board way so the only way I have to practice is when I am in class. I am having difficulty with getting all of the proper steps written down first for each skill because the teacher goes very fast.
Does anybody know if there are online videos that I can watch that specifically represent the state of CA state board skills steps for CNA? It's really a whole lot more helpful to me to be able to watch videos step by step at home, write them down and then go practice at school. I am not picking up quickly enough the other way because it's not very organized.
We are told that "in the real world", nobody does it the state board way. It's rather hard to balance that mentality when I am merely new at learning about it.
Thanks so much.

Hi...you can find lots of videos from youtube.just search cna skills test for california.or you can always google them.best of luck to you :)
Hey There, I did that, but the videos that are popping up are not CA state board way.
What do you mean by CA state board way? I think you have to combine the skills videos and the skills that you read from the small blue book that you got from your cna program, the one that have all the steps for skills test.2 years ago my instructor told me about this website http://www.kamanganursing.com, i hope you find it helpful.
