CA Schools vs VA Schools

I am currently in the process of choosing to stay here in Virginia Beach or move back home to Southern California. My hang up is nursing school. I can complete up to my BSN within about 2 and half years, no waitlist. While it looks like it may take longer in Southern California. I feel overwhelmed by the information I am getting and a lot of it is confusing. Can anyone help in the CA school aspect? The program I am looking at here in VB is simple. You get in starting at the LPN Bridge over to RN which takes a total of 21mos. After that, I can stay with them or go to another school. If I stay with them to BSN it would take about 27mos. Any schools similar in Southern California?
