I had already registered online in Pearson Vue but I think I'm not yet eligible to take the test. Is there an expiration date for my registration at PV?
I received a letter from CA BON requesting for new requirements such as:
SS number
Local license in the Philippines
Copy of ur clinical rotation schedule for your cases: Assisted/Actual deliveries, cord dressing, and major/minor surgeries
A complete school curriculum hundred pages or more sent directly from ur nursing school to the board. (the board doesn't accept the condensed version of the curriculum
A one-page curriculum outline and academic calendar.
Fortunately, I had the first 2 requirements but I am worried that the last 3 will take time to be accomplished.
I am wondering if it's just me who have this requirement. Most of NCLEX passers I know weren't required on those listed above. It's really hard to focus on review while your thinking of this

I sent my application last Oct 30,2012 and received a letter from them last week (March 3) that i need to fill-up the Declaration letter. So u mean to say, i'll wait again for more than 2-3 months before they give as eligibility? Oh my!

Ya I guess but everyone is different.. But most of the time is 2-3 months.. I am also hoping i will get it soon

yeah! maybe you're right. especially me. i sent my application with out sending my Record of Nursing program. I never thought that the Ca BON will send the Transcript without my record of my Nursing program. I know it was my fault. another waiting again.

Me too. I passed my application december 2012 and now im still waiting for the first letter. So it took 4months for some to receive the letter and another 4 months maybe for the eligibilty??

What is the record of nursing program? Do u mean the declaration form?

I don't know if board LVN need that. The board RN have that on my file so maybe they sent it, but if not, the board LVN will ask me bcoz i don't want to send before they ask

Guess what!! Employees from CHED went to Cali last december & arranged a meeting with the board of nursing!
Anything happened? Or ??
