CA bon and Cgfns states

Published

Hi, im just waiting for ca brn's reponse just sent them the requirement for cases last week and i know by the time they reply either good or bad news it will take some time. My question is it okay to apply to another state using cgfns ces if your application in CA is still active will there be any conflict on my app in CA? I just want to use my time efficiently. My brother is in Colorado planning to start an application in that state.

thank you

no reason why not especially if you think concurrency will be an issue. He will however only be able to sit NCLEX for one state as part of the initial licensure application ie if he gets eligibility from both CA and CO then he must choose which state to sit NCLEX for he can't sit for both

Why not see if you can "withdraw" your CA application, since the approval rate is about 00.002% and if it's caught in time, maybe you can get a REFUND, I would write to the CA BON immediately to have your application withdrawn if they can do so without losing your money. If there's NO refund, let it slide and go ahead and apply elsewhere.

thanks for the reply steppybay but I think I'll just wait for ca letter than withdrawing my app and I know CA refunding my money will be a hassle not really worth the time. I went to there office one time when I almost sent them another check for my app when they said that they still havent recieved the check good thing I decided to wait and it did came in they explain how the refund works and its like a hopeless process from the way they explained.lol

Im just curious if applying to cgfns will affect my current app for CA? any thoughts?
