Busy...busy..busy.. Start the 30th!

So the recruiter called me today to tell me about the orientation next week. I guess Monday there are so many people coming for the general orientation, that they had to switch locations...she said she wasnt sure about Tuesday or Wednesday yet (believe those days are for na's only)...what help! Anyways previously I was told to come Thursday and meet at the hospital from 8-10..now shes telling me 8-4. Then she makes me feel dumb...Im pretty organized...but she was making me feel like I was disorganized. She mentioned Friday also 8-4 (the stuff she sent me DID NOT say anything about the 27th Friday!) She made it seem like I wasnt paying attention. Hello I dont make the stuff up that you sent me!? So this lady is really confusing the heck out of me. I do not like to be made to look dumb either. Honestly Im not even sure what Ill will be doing there Thursday/Friday anymore. I called the nurse manager for my schedule (she seems really nice). She doesnt have the full schedule figured out but she put me on the 30th (Memorial day...thinking they will pay me time and a half even if its my first day on the floor?), 31st (also have on site orientation same day 8-10). 1st, and 3rd. Thats 4 days there 7-3...I guess we will see if my schedule will be consistently like that or not. On the sheet it said 30hrs per bi weekly pay period. Would you think anything over 15hrs a week is time and a half, or anything over 30hrs every two weeks? Well Im hoping for the best! This recruiter is very frustrating though. I was just at the store...I didnt get to look at scrubs yet because I didn't think I would be starting so soon/during the middle of orientation days. Any suggestions for scrubs/shoes? Not too expensive, but comfortable. I have these 2 scrub sets from Family Dollar they were cheap, but the pants are a pain! You tie them and they get stuck in a knot and it takes forever to untie them! Sorry if I threw a lot out there..this all is so crazy lol..but looking forward to it!

If you just did a simple tax return with the standard deduction, you can not write off uniforms.

Just came back from the hospital for the computer (sorian) training. I sure hope I get the hang of it/ that someone will help us again, becasue it looks like alot to remember/do! The women teaching the class, took me upstairs to see if my nurse manager was there. She wasnt there (at least when went up). I guess Ill just show up Monday, the nurse manager never called me like she said she was going to yesterday. Wish me luck Im nervous!
