Business Associates to BSN Nursing at CSU?

U.S.A. Ohio

Hope someone can help me! I am currently finishing up my Medical Assisting program in 2 weeks. I already knew half way through 1st semester I wanted to become an RN but wanted to work as an MA while pursuing nursing. I have an Associates in Business and was going to go for my Associates in Nursing through Tri-C. But, I was told by a nurse, who was also my instructor for MA, that I shouldn't keep collecting Associate degrees. She advised me to speak to a Cleveland State nursing counselor to see if there is a special transition program to go right into a BSN for Nursing and take my pre-reqs at Tri-C since it's cheaper and transfers to CSU just fine. Is this possible when I don't hold an Associates in nursing? I'm confused how business has anything to do with healthcare. I hope someone can give me guidance

You can take your pre read and then apply for CSU. Once you have all pre reqs and start, the program is three years. The info on which classes transfer is on their website. It will be more money, but it is certainly an option.
