Burlington County College Spring 2014

Hello,

Is anyone applying to Burlington County College for Spring 2014? Have you applied before? What pre-reqs do you currently have completed? I am getting a little nervous about the whole process. Just wondering if anyone else is applying and how you are feeling about the roller coaster ride we are getting ready to get on.

Congrats to everyone accepted & keep your heads up to those who were wait listed. Ms_Cass, I did my background check online, that was quick and easy. Within 2 business days they will send me a code to get my drug screening. We have to send our letters back with the $ and both background and drug checks done by October 18th.

Did anyone else notice that the drug test payment wasnt showing up at checkout? I just got off the phone with ASG and they said their system was updating over the weekend. Everything is correct now. If you only paid $62 I'd double check with them to make sure everything is correct in their system.

How much is it supposed to be? I thought it was 60 plus 7 percent tax.

When I first tired to do it over the weekend it was only showing the payment for the background checks. Which I believe was somewhere around 62 with tax. When I went to hit submit nothing happened- which was my main reason for calling. I also asked about the drug test payment and thats when they told me that it should have been included. When I did it this morning both were on there and totaled out to be around 132. If you got the email about the drug test, I wouldn't worry. You probably just got yourself a free test! Ha!

Thanks for letting me know. I haven't done it yet bc I won't have the money until Wednesday. I hope I won't be cutting it too close...

I just got back from Massachusetts and recieved my letter last night when I got home. Got accepted! I just sent the money to the school and submitted everything in adamsafeguard this morning.

ThatgroovyLPN you haven't received a letter at all? You should call, it may have gotten mixed up in the mail.

I just did my background check but I'm concerned with it taking 10 business days. That would be after Oct 18. Has everyone already done their stuff yet? Also, does anyone know if we'll be able to use financial aid to purchase books, stethoscope, etc.?

@IGSD777 I think you should be fine with the background/drug screening. It's in the system that it's pending. As long as you sent your check in to accept your spot in the program. I stopped by the nursing dept. today and was inquiring about when we can register for our sections. She told me that we must wait to receive the first of two packets we get. Then we must get our registration forms signed by the dept. prior to registering. She said that we should get the first packet around the end of the month!!

@IGSD777 Hi my name is Christina, and I sent in my adam safe guard background check on October 4th, and took my urine screening test yesterday, October 9, and today October 10th I received all of my results. So you should be fine!!

CA7793-I hope so. That was pretty fast! I should make it just in time. Hopefully the holiday doesn't slow things down. How long after you paid for your background and drug test did they email you about the drug screening?
