I've applied for spring 2011 and I'm anxiously waiting to hear something from BCC.! I have all my pre-reqs done. I'm currently working in a doctors office from 8-4. I'm wondering if I will I be able to work and do NS. My employer is willing to work with me. I'm not sure if my schedule will allow me to work for them? I don't need a job financially. I would just like to maintain a relationship in the local community to help me later on down the line.
The brochure doesn't really give me an idea of the schedule that we'll have...anybody have a clue?
Sorry yes there is a page. You will need a black bag for lab. Your supplies. I can't remember them all. And uniforms I would buy two to be safe. Clinical is only one day and the only day you wear uniforms to lab is practicum days. There also is page that tells you what u need for the first day to be read. There are ten drug cards also I would suggest you start a.also drug worksheets I would do and a two page paper!
I got the books today...they cost $506 in total. These are only the required books. Make sure you bring some sturdy bags to help you carry them to your car! This is insane. I'm still very excited. I carried these heavy books through the snow the only thing that kept me smiling was my name tag. We are officially nursing students!
