Bunker Hill ASN 2015 (Accepted Students)

Published

This is a thread for those who have been accepted to Bunker Hill Community College. Our journey finally begins December 5th! :woot:

Me too! Thank god! Does anyone know if we need to wear our uniforms on Tuesday?

Did they email you guys that you are clear for clinical? I sent an email Tuesday asking if I was cleared but I haven't recieved anything back? I know I brought all the right papers in but I'm kinda worried now...

I got a phone call because I had emailed, twice, and also because she had a question for me. I would imagine you're fine, unless otherwise notified. Yes, Tuesday is scrubs, at least that's what I gathered from the email last week

I know I'm cleared only because I was notified for missing something.

That's why I was confused because the email says we wear them for lab/clinical but I thought tuesday was a lecture day technically?

Did everyone get the email this morning? They told us they will be reviewing (between tuesday and next Monday) chapters 1-9 if we want to get ahead reading... I wish they told us all of these last week

I know seriously! It's a lot of reading for such short notice considering tomorrow is the first day of class. Thankfully we don't have to lug those books to school tomorrow I need to get a better backpack first! Lol

Has anyone reviewed the info they posted?? Is anyone else as nervous as me?! 😁

I'm pretty sure that reviewing those chapters is helpful, but not mandatory. I skimmed through the book a little, pretty easy read, and it seemed straightforward, so no need to be worried.

yay, we got our clinical assignments

Hey all! Thought I would check in and see how the program is going! I'm hoping to reapply for fall since this semester wasn't the greatest timing for me.

Quick question - do you ever have any classes/clinicals before 5:30pm?

It's flying by its crazy! Classes/clinical start at 4

Pretty good! Once we got through a bunch of basic stuff, it got pretty interesting. Classes and clinical a start at 4 and you can check the website for days and times the classes meet for the rest of the semesters. I thought you were going to start somewhere else.
