Hi! Is anyone else applying to BHCC's Spring 2019 program? I sent in the application already and will be taking the TEAS tomorrow. I was originally trying to go to an Accelerated BSN program since I already have a bachelors degree, and I got in, but this option was more cost effective and practical for my family.

Nope... anyone else??

I took pre-reqs through BHCC but my application status is still "applied". My pre-reqs through BHCC are 4.0 but I have a few others from elsewhere that probably make it a 3.7 or 3.8 total. I got a 92.7% on the TEAS. Anxious to hear back! I'm kind of confused about what takes so long since they just input it into a spreadsheet and calculate based on points. Hopefully we hear soon!

Yeah, it's getting pretty frustrating. I'd like to be able to plan my life. Can't do that if I don't even know what's happening. Every day we hear nothing just makes me more anxious. I was hoping we'd find out today before the long weekend, but that looks unlikely now. Now we have to wait until Tuesday, or probably longer. agh!!!

I've been trying to be patient and didn't call them to inquire until yesterday. Got an automated response about high call volumes directing me to go to their website or email them. Same thing today.

Check your status on the self service admission log in today! It's been updated. But my student portal profile hasn't change yet. Please share what it says!

Self service portal has updated. I was offered a space in the alternative program but had to decline because those hours do not suit my life. I was placed on the waitlist for the day program and I'm praying that I end up with a seat.

Checked the self service admission thing this morning and it now says accepted. I haven't received an email though. Did any of you get an email? I want to actually see something in writing, and find out when the orientation is.

Emailed admissions to verify and got this response:

"The Nursing Decision Letters will go out tomorrow. Please check your BHCC email for

your letter."

I'm not currently a BHCC student, so I don't have a BHCC email to read whatever letter they're referring to, and I didn't get any letter to my regular email.

Can anyone tell me what this letter says?

I think it can be sent in the email you applied or the mailing address you placed when you applied. Since you are accepted then they would make an email and a student ID and would send it to you via email and mail I think. Hopefully that helps!

Accepted! I'm doing the alternative program. I would have liked to do day but the alternative option works better for my family

The letter finally showed up for me in the portal this morning, accepted to the day program! Congratulations everyone! BellaChanel, fingers crossed you end up with a seat in the day program!
