Hi All,

Anybody applied or applying to BSWH for the fall 2018 residency? Just wanted to start a thread to facilitate discussion.

Have you heard anything?

Oh interesting. At least that gives you a date to go by. Last Friday I was just told to wait til maybe this week. I was debating whether to call today.

I honestly don't know what to do anymore. Lol I didn't think it would take this long.

Trueee. Do you think other candidates from Tuesday have already been offered positions, or do you think they're waiting to contact everybody on Friday? I may ask that once I receive a call back.

When I spoke with the recruiter he said no offers had been made yet, atleast for those who interviewed that day. The way he explained it he said that the nurses who interviewed us had not told him who they wanted to hire yet. I guess there were 2 interview rooms. One with internal medicine and the other with telemetry/cardio and pulmonary. In the internal medicine room he said the nurse said she pretty much knew who she wanted but I am not sure what the hold up was. I was in the other room and those 2 nurses were gone the days following and he had not had a chance to speak with them.

Ohhhh I see, that's actually really helpful. Thank you, I had no idea! I was thinking that maybe offers had already been made. I'm so glad I asked you because that does make me feel better lol. I was in the internal medicine room though. So I wonder what happened if they made their decision already.

Yeah. I mean I guess it's not a bad thing, since that means we are still being considered but it's hard not to be negative.

Yeah that's true. I've been trying to be positive but I was struggling with it yesterday. Hopefully they do let us know by Friday.

I did the background verification and school verification but that's all I have done so far

I have just accepted an offer for 11 Roberts. I thought this day would never come. Good luck everyone else. Keep an eye on your phone for that call!
