hi im a fresh graduate of BSN from the philippines and just awaiting my documents to be able to apply for licensure... I would like to take the LVN exam? am i allowed to do so? and what are my requirements since i finished school abroad...thank you :)

Uh, why? The NCLEX RN and LVN and identical. There's no reason for taking the LVN version if you have a BSN degree since it is the same procedure to go through for either one. Get that RN! Get more money. You're worth it and it's an easier test with fewer questions.

I have worked with many Filipinos who are practicing as LVNs in CA but it is because they did not pass the RN exam. I highly suggest you take the NCLEX RN. Do not even consider the NCLEX PN unless you are unsuccessful with the RN exam several times. Do not sell your education short, particularly for the amount of hassle you have to go through to get all the paperwork in order. Look in the international forum for the procedures where they are spelled out several times. What about retrogression? Are you able to go to CA in spite of that?

hi i just want to ask if i can take the lvn exam in the philippines? im a bsn graduate there. thanks. :)
