I'm a BSN graduate from the Philippines 2012 and currently holding an LPN/LVN licence here in California. When I migrated here in the USA, I applied a permit for NCLEX RN exam. I submitted all my paperworks and other supporting documents like clinical cases, but the CA board of nursing wants me to take Medical Surgical Nursing units, before giving me the permit to take the NCLEX RN exam. My dilema is that, they gave me 3 years to complete, but I can't find any school that caters my needs. i'm not the only one suffering from this restriction but most of the foreign graduates. Can you help me or us to find school that give us the opportunity to complete the necessary requirements by the CA board of nursing?

Cal State San Bernardino. They offer Med Surg and OB every summer. 12 weeks program. I suggest you call them so you can be put in the list for next summer
