well i guess ill see you around up there next fall and hopefully clinicals in the spring lol. i still need to finish some of USF's core requirements in the fall along with physiology
Hi guys.... CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!!!
So, to be "clinically ready", you have to complete all the core requirements? I thought you only had to have the 4 pre-requisites plus a written communication class, and public speaking course to start clinicals immediately. Cee Lee, I don't think you have to have your literature and philosophy courses done before clinicals- your "core" classes, because they fit in with the nursing classes. Is that so?? Hmmmm, I thought this was a three year nursing program if you are finished with your pre-reqs and most core courses.
City-- No, to be clinically ready, you need to have your prereqs, from my understanding; and it helps to have your lower division core reqs completed. There is room within the freshman year to take these, but to lessen your load it is 'suggested' to you have your lower division cores completed.
You do have upper division cores, which, from what I can recall, is your (2) philosophy and theology, in addition to your service learning experience.
As far as the written communication, you do need a R&C class before your junior year, so this can be completed at first semester at USF.
I believe it can be completed on 6 semesters, depending how much you have completed prior to transfer.
Again, this is information is based on what I recall from the informational meeting, the website, and the Bachelor curriculum plan.
Did your letter state, "You will be ready Spring 2010"?
