BSN examinations post-graduation?

Nurses General Nursing

Hello! This is probably a really dumb question but after the completion of my ADN program, there was the NCLEX-RN for us to take. I am currently enrolled in a Florida BSN program and was wondering if there was a similar test that I would have to take upon graduation in order to be able to add "BSN" to my title. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me!

No, there is not another test. The test leads to becoming licensed; the ADN and BSN are degrees. Two different concepts.

Same test...ADN or BSN. If you have your RN license, then that's it. The higher degree will open many doors for you. My program required the ADNs to have an RN license in order to come on board in the last year with my class. They didn't mix us in with the ADNs too much.

I remember only 1 class where they attended on a regular basis. Most of the ADN RNs weren't; what's the word...enthused. Most of them (there were 6) sat their and rolled their eyes. My class was a tight, fun group of 40. We were given a talk about them coming in and to be helpful. But. yea; if you're licensed, you are licensed...ADN or BSN.
