I am looking to apply in fall 2014. So far my GPA is a 3.1 and I got a B in AP English and Psy as well as West and World civ. I have AP 2 and chemistry to get into, I don't know if I will transfer into my second year, but I want to transfer in my first year with thirty something credits in. Is there a chance? To get into the Boston BSN program??

That gpa to be honest seems under what competitve numbers show. Im not sure about boston, but around my area you become competitive around a 3.5 with a 3.8ish guaranteeing you a seat, and thats considering you getting As in pre-req. Sciences (ap1&2/micro/chem&ochem.)
In your situation id try my best to salvage that gpa as much as possible before applying.

What you need to do is ask the admissions counselor at the college. S/he will have actual answers, when all we can do is guess or give you examples from unrelated programs.

I got into MCPHS with a 3.3 GPA. But as long as you're a well rounded student who participated in extra curricular activities, I'm sure you will be fine. But you cannot transfer chemistry credits to MCPHS, they're a bit picky and require that you take their chemistry classes - it'll be a good GPA booster for you in that case.

I didn't have any ap credit, but as fat as I onow its difficult to transfer credits. You won't be able to transfer chemistry, they make you take basic chem 1 and 2 which they say is nursing based.
Thank you all!! I definitely need to boost up my GPA, but that means I would have to retake chemistry? I'm taking it just in case for other schools, but my other question is, how long is the program? Do you HAVE to complete it within the two and a half years, depending on your credits? And how hard is it? How many people do they actually take?
