I am about to start an RPN in one of the Ontario colleges, but my long term goal is to get BScN, but due to some circumstances I would not be able to do all 6 Gr subjects to go straight for the degree. Again, the thought that I will write Board exams twice at RPN exits and at RN exits beside the entry HOAE exams for both are giving me concern and some element uneasiness. I am in my forties and just changing career, time is an important factor to me now.
Can any one tell me if there is any institution in Canada that I can do both RPN and RN at a stretch and write one exit exam.
I know that performance vary from person to person, but I would like to know, a base line strategy that can help a good nursing students to perform well.
Regards,
xokw, BSN, RN

No, they are completely different exams.
You can either do RPN, write the CPNRE, then complete your bridge to BScN, and write the NCLEX. Or you can do your BScN from the beginning.
