Broward College Summer 2022

Hello!  I am finishing up my prerequisites this semester and hoping to apply for BC Summer 2022.   Anyone else looking into this program?

Hi!  Officially they have 30 business days after the deadline.  So we wait.  ?

Do you show points allotted?  I don’t see anything yet.

Hi everyone!

I submitted my application last Friday. I’m still waiting to be able to pay the application fee and receive points. I’m so nervous because I know Summer is a shorter term, but I’m ready to start this new journey!

I don’t have any points yet either. From Nichole’s email, all applications are reviewed manually so it may take some time for them to go through all of them and update the points. I’m just glad I got the email saying my application was received because some of my transcripts needed to be evaluated.

How much shorter is Summer than the other semesters? Do you think it will be more work?

From the information I got during the nursing info session, they said the Summer term is six weeks long, whereas the Fall/Spring terms are eight weeks. So two weeks shorter than the other terms. They said it is the same amount of coursework that they require for the first semester if we were to start in the Fall/Spring, but just in a shorter time period.

Finally received my points. It was only 8. Not sure how likely I would be to get accepted with just 8 points but I’m hoping for the best.

Decisions are out! I got accepted! I just received my points too. I got 14 points. I’m so happy!
