Broward College starting Jan 2013

Have been hearing that BC will be requiring math prerequisite and may be dropping Chemistry pre-req for nursing program for students starting Jan 2013. Please post any specific information you have received from the school. I have emailed them but have not heard back. The people on the phone are not exactly sure what's going to happen.

I applied to central but I heard north was better, anybody knows why??Okayy so I decided to check my status just like you guys and it saids application in review (: What's everyone else's status??

Mines still haven't change. I'm starting to get worried:(

Mine still the same too. :down: I guess we need to learn how to be patient.

I heard north is better too, and I dont know why. I hope to go there anyway since I live in pompano.

Wow..it changed already!! When did you turn in ur application? Mine hasnt changed either :( north campus is closest to my house too..

Hi everyone! I turned in my nursing application for January 2013 and I'm supper nervous, and I thought it would be a good idea to join this forum lol. Well my GPA is at a 3.24 and my HESI score is 94.8%! Does anyone know if I would have a good chance of getting in based on this?

Hey everyone, i applied just like everyone else. my status still reads "pre program application". My GPA is a 3.27 and i got a 95% on the HESI. Im keeping my fingers crossed!

Sure hope so cause my GPA is about the same, and my HESI average is 91%. LOL

If you look back in the forum and other website on BC they are looking at your pre reqs first.

1. Highest scores in the 5 sections of the HESI

2. Highest pre-requisite GPA

3. At least a 2.0 overall GPA

Looks like you have a good chance :yes:

I have a 'B' over all GPA and 'B+' in prereqs. My hesi score was just below an A.

Same here. 3.2 gpa and 92% on hesi.. i'm so anxious to see a change in the status.. hopefully for the better.

I submitted my application at central but i want to attend north campus....
