Has anyone turned in their application yet?! Btw, I heard that Central campus might NOT have a May class :sniff:

Mrs.ant0125-

Yes I am in the program and its going well for me so far. I can't complain. Its a lot of work at the beginning, trying to transition into the program, learning how to study all over again, learning how to manage your time, learning what works and what doesn't work. But you adjust and it gets better. There is A LOT of reading....huge amounts at times, so I just try to stay ahead and not fall behind.

I didn't get a hold of anyone today, no surprises there, but tonight in Core class, I did ask my instructor if she had heard anything about not having a May start at Central Campus, and she said she hasn't heard a thing.

You have to be in my class. 6:00-10:00?

Yep, I am. What group are you in? PM me if you don't want to spill guts on the forum. I think Mrs. C is excellent.

Hey quick question....is anyone considering Memorial Healthcare System Scholarship ?

You bet. I have heard they are great to work for.

I am. But you won't be able to apply for any of the scholarships until after the first semester. Then the scholarship people will come in and talk to you, bring you food and thats when you can apply.

They pay for your classes -AND- feed you?

Wow...sounds great!!! :D:D

Yeah, first they come to class to give us info and feed us lunch to attract us to their hospital I suppose. Then, you apply, and if you are selected, you get the moolah. I'm looking forward to meeting with them next semester, however, they came in to talk to us briefly during orientation the first week of school and told us there are about 30 spots total between all 3 hospital groups for all 3 campuses, which means theres a lot of competition.

ok...that sounds good

Do you know anything about the selection process? Does it just go by GPA initially? And then they do interviews from there? Or are there other criteria?
