Ok folks! I'm Here to ask some general questions about Broward College. Specifically the central campus. I've read multiple forums on her that are slightly outdated and geez!!! I feel like I'm reading horror story after horror story. I'm looking to attend there January 2017 and I'd really like to hear from people that have attended here. The thing that is making me the most nervous is that I heard that if you fail two of anything (clinical, math test etc) that you not only get bumped from nursing school, but they force you to attend LPN school? That seems a little outrageous to me. Also, the passing numbers vs the numbers that apply seem crazy as well. I've been through EMT so I'm used to scenario based tests and hard work, but I don't want to feel like I'm setting myself up for failure by attending here. Any advice?

Many nursing programs have a set number of strikes before you are removed from the program- 2 seems to be the most common with a handful of 3 and a handful of 1. No one can be forced to attend LPN school against their will- that may be an alternative offered by the school, but students who are removed from the RN program can simply choose to apply to other schools.

I graduated from there in the mid 2000's
you will hear/read people's experiences. When I went there I knew 2 people who failed out... so what I did is I studied so it wouldn't happen to me. I truly dedicated my life to school.
You have to make your own story and judge for yourself.
I feel I received a great education. I learned a lot, learned fear- to do the wrong thing.... and it made me the nurse I am today.
