Hi! I know it's pretty early to start a thread for fall but I just wanted to see somewhat of what other people have in their classes and HESI. I have to retake the anatomy portion of the test but everything else I passed, and I have a GPA of 3.18. Also, I was in another nursing program before this and didn't do so well because of what was going on in my life during that time. Do you think this will be a big issue regarding getting in??
Hi I have a question about the program and you seem to have a lot of knowledge on it. After you pass the hesi what do you do next? I know there's application form but do you fill it out then have an advisor sign it? Or do they fill it out with you? Is there a specific advisor you have to go to and do you have to bring your Hesi scores? I don't want to mess anything up or not be prepared. Thanks.

If you have all your prereqs and requirements complete, you can take the form to an advisor and they will go through and make sure all your transcripts and stuff is in the system and they will sign off on it. I'm not sure if you have to go to a health science advisor specifically, I just went to the advising office and met with someone that was available...I believe anyone can help you.
For the hesi, as long as it's in your transcript, they should be able to see it. If you took at it Broward or had them sent to Broward, it should be there
I also wanted to know if my scores were good enough to get in. On math and grammar I got a 78%. On reading and vocabulary I got a 82% and 88%. I have to retake the anatomy portion. My Gpa is a 3.4. What do you think?
Your HESI scores don't matter as long as you got above the minimum. Your GPA will depend on the people that apply when you apply. It changes from semester to semester but with a 3.4 I would think you are good.

Deadline ended around May 15th and decisions came out around June 27th or so. You can find the exact date if you go back a few pages on this thread. There is no waiting list (which you can find on their website), only a list of those who were accepted, denied, or placed as alternates.
