Broward August 2015

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

Have no ida because if you look at central codes it shows as both tuesday/ wednesday .... and for south its say just pick one tuesday or wednesday ??? Im confused on the nur1020L

Yea it seems strange, Have you decided what classes your registering for in south? I'm also planning on going there

I think I like option A, did you notice what Rene said too, south campus is the only campus listing lab days for one day out of the week while north and central are two days.

Im picking option A for pharmacology and mtb, option B for nursing process 1 and 526216 for process 2 lab , and i spoke to Josette Lauture the nursing advisor and she told me they only require one day of lab

I thought we were only suppose to stay with one option, like if you chose something from option a then everything has to be option a.

And isn't the lab thing kind of iffy if the other campuses are getting two lab days I feel kind of cheated. :/

I thought we were only suppose to stay with one option, like if you chose something from option a then everything has to be option a.

There are 3 separate sections titled

1. PHARMACOLOGY AND MTB OPTIONS

2.NURSING PROCESS I THEORY OPTIONS

3. NURSING PROCESS II OPTIONS

In each of those sections you have the opportunity of choosing either A or B they let you pick ABB OR ABA etc. you don't necessarily need to pick all A or all B. Hopefully it makes sense I'm not the best at explaining lol

Directions:

1. Select option A or option B for Pharmacology & MTB (day and time) and enter the reference numbers of the appropriate Pharmacology and MTB courses,

2. Select option A or option B (the reference number is the only difference) for Nursing Process Theory I and the appropriately matching clinical under the option that you selected.

Yea I agree I thought we would get 2 days but maybe once we register they might change it.

Good Morning All! Was it just me, or were others dreaming about reference numbers all night. Anxiously waiting 8am. Praying it all goes smoothly...

This is the reply I received after I inquired about the uniform and lab days:

Yes at orientation you will need to be in full uniform. We only accept the uniform that is sold in the bookstore. If you buy your uniform from anywhere else you will be asked to leave and purchase the correct uniform from the bookstore before attending Orientation.

Yes you will be at the hospital only 1 day a week. Please keep in mind that the students do not go to the hospital until the fourth week in the semester, prior to that all students are required to be on Campus Tuesday AND Wednesday.[/COLOR][/font][/font]
