Hey I am applying Spring 2010. I decided to do it last minute so unfortunatley I do not have all of the core courses complete because they were not a requirement at TCC. I only have 8.78 total points before hesi. I am hoping to make about 20 points on HESI to make up for the classes I haven't taken. I combined my GPA + courses completed so far. I heard the HESI is not that hard.
Actually this is my second time applying, I applied this past spring only to get the 3 points. I took the Hesi this spring, got an 88 (76 on anatomy). I decided to retake the Hesi for this application period which I'm really glad I did cause I made 93.18 (got 96 on anatomy portion). Having completed A&P 2 really helped---I think that's the best advice I can give you. And get yourself the evolve hesi A2 review book, trust me it's worth it! everything you need to know is pretty much in there.
I am applying with 31.42 points and is my first attempt. I am so nervous I can't hardly stand it!!! The deadline schedule on Brookhaven's site says that we won't find out our admission status until December 11th; has anyone heard any different? I will go nuts if I have to wait that long!!! Who else applied? Does anyone think my points will be enough to get me in?? I hope so!!!
Bradibear you should be fine Im the one with low points I only have 20.9 point and i scored a 82 on the hesi. so my plan is to enroll in spring semester for the end of life issue class and retake the hesi if i dont get in. I hate to say this but i feel like i have to start all over again. So hopefully i will get my three extra point for fall so pray for me.

Is anyone applying to Brookhaven for the Spring 2010 semester? How many points do you have? I take the Hesi on Sept 17th... worried about the A&P portion.
I have 14.1 points without the HESI points. I have all the classes and support courses completed with the exception of End of Life Issues (couldn't get in because it was full).
Has anyone taken the exam - was it terrible? I haven't taken A&P in about 7 years, so I am nervous about it. I am aiming for a 91 on the HESI...
How many points do you have without the Hesi points?
What was your score on the HESI?
Have you applied before?
