Brookhaven College Nursing Program Fall 2014

Hi everyone, I haven't seen any thread about BHC Fall '14 so I made one! I am applying this February at Brookhaven community college for Fall 2014. I took Hesi last year for trial and I will be taking the Hesi for real again this February and I have been studying really hard this Winter break! Goodluck everyone, if I do not get accepted I have plan B which to go ahead and try to apply in UTA.

Almost finished in all precourses needed just Micro and death dying this Spring but they are not counted this application so I am hoping to do well in Hesi!

I saw one of the interviewers write a 14 down. Maybe they read the essays before we went in the interview room and then compiled the interview and essay scores...

my understanding was 70 get interviewed and 60 get picked so yes, 10 would be cut. But look at like this your odds are 6 out of 7 getting picked. Pretty good odds! :)

From what I read on the website the essay and interview are worth a total of 15 points. I also saw a 14.5 written down and I think that may be the total of points giving to that particular person. The three interviewers write down a score of 1-5 for the questions with 5 being the highest. Then they take the average of the 3. I'm actually not nervous right now but I'm sure by the end of next week I will be losing more hair. LOL

I know last ss semester they read the essays before the interview.

Their website says the 17th.

They told us on Thursday we would know sometime today-Friday.

Me too!! My nerves kicked in over the weekend. The 17th can't get here as enough!!!

During the interview one of them said this Friday, but maybe it's next.....
