Thought I'd start a forum for those who are applying for Brookhaven's ADN program Fall 2018. Has anyone started on these particular things? --->

-prerequisites

-HESI A2

-online nursing information session

-critical thinking exam

-dosage calculations class

I look forward to talking to those who are going to be applying. Hope to hear from you soon!!!

Lol girl lets hope so! It was really nice to meet you Monday. You did so well in the interview I am sure you are getting accepted! What were your points you applied with if you dont mind me asking? (This is Emily btw lol seat 2 from the interview group monday) :)

Hi Emily, nice to meet you too. You did so good too. I applied with 34.9 points. and honestly was not expecting an interview. I applied since i had enough points and was planning on retaking hesi and finishing up micro to apply for spring, but here we are now and i am excited and nervous at the same time!

Good Morning everyone. I am so happy and relieved to have gotten the interview and essay over with... I have a feeling that we all have a great chance of getting in as in like 99.9% chance from what I've read. I already got acceptance into another program I applied for, but Brookhaven is my #1 pick so this is the one I hope to get into. Can't wait I hope and pray our emails come early. I wasn't even expecting the email from the other school so early; I was just sitting at home playing Candy Crush and the email popped up. Just happy to know that I will in Fact be a nurse soon.. But really praying for Brookhaven so it can be more sooner than later.

Congrats on getting that behind you!! and Congrats on the other acceptance! What program was is that you got accepted into?

Congrats on getting that behind you!! and Congrats on the other acceptance! What program was is that you got accepted into?

Thanks, I was accepted into the Tarrant County College Nursing Program.

Welp everyone I am soooooo hoping tomorrow we find out!!! I don't think I can take waiting til Friday lol!!!

I want to know so dang bad I literally cant stand it, so thats why I think it will be the actual scheduled day they said notices would go out, because the universe is rude. Lol. I have been trying really hard to busy myself with work and my current classes. Thankfully my micro teacher is way behind schedule so 2 exams, a lab practical, a lab quiz, semester project, and final are all in the last 2 weeks of class.... so much to do....but i still manage to check my email every 5 minutes :banghead:

today was my short day at work so i got off at 1PM. I been all over my email lol.Good thing tomorrow I work until 6pm so time can pass by quick. A week has never dragged this longggggg in my lifeee omggggg

This week has dragged by so slowly!! Can it be Friday already?

Do any of you know what time they sent out the admission letters last semester? Was it right at 5 or earlier in the day? I'm grasping at straws here lol

Question: how many alternates are there usually? And do you find out if you're an alternate on Friday?

It looks like last application cycle they came in about 12pm.

Idk how many there are, a handful im sure usually, but this semester is different since they are accepting way more than they usually do so idk if that will change how many alternates they select for fall. And yes alternates will find out they are alternates tomorrow as well

From older post about spring 2018 and fall 2017 looks like they been sending out emails the day of. It looks like they send alternates and denials in the morning and acceptance in the afternoon. So lets all hope we do not get a morning email!!!
