Hi everyone. Im currently in my second semester in the nursing program here at brookdale. If anyone has any questions, feel free to post them and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
I went to the information session in March 2019 and after that was placed on the waiting list. I just received my letter of acceptance to the Spring 2020. The information I received at that last session was that the wait list was only 2 semesters long, so one year. It could change at anytime, but I think they say 2 years to be safe.
thank you nursenell. I am attending info session end of this month. I also have the cna course left which I will take the 2 week course in January. Do u have all of ur prereqs completed? I wonder if I will still have to wait a year even though I will be done with all my prereqs in Jan 2020.
ATI TEAS book is a great resource to study from. The practice tests in the book are presented in the same format as the actual test, so you will not be surprised. I took the practice tests first to find out my weak areas and spent more time studying those. I also did a bunch of additional practice questions that I could find online. Good thing about brookdale TEAS, you only need a 58 to pass so even if you don’t do well on one section you can still pass if you do ok on the rest.

We didn’t go into detail about how long each track wait list is. I’m hoping one starts sooner haha. She seemed like she was in a rush so I kept it brief. She said I should here something in like 4-6 weeks from her about taking that exam (not the college issued one). And that the wait list is about 2 years. I would feel more assured if I knew for sure I was getting in after 2 years. I’m going to try and apply to other nursing programs. I was rejected from my county’s cc but mine is super competitive. I’m going to keep applying tho
