Brookdale CC. Fall information session

Hello I'm sorry I am unable to answer the question you posted, however I do have a question for you. I am preparing to take my hesi for brookdale, I was wondering if you can tell me a bit about your experience with exam. I just received my pass to go and take it. Was it hard? How long did it take you, and what exactly were the questions/content like? Thx for any info you can provide! . :)

FYI there is a dedicated HESI entrance exam forum in the student section of this site with a lot of information and tips.

I have to say I didn't find the Hesi too difficult. There was math, vocabulary, grammar (which I found most difficult) and reading comprehension. I reviewed my letter in a Thirdday and took the test that Saturday morning. I did buy a Hesi prep book that i only used Friday evening to go over vocabulary. It took me just about 2 hours. There are 55 questions in each section. The math had ALOT of ratio and fraction questions. Just look over vocab and you should be fine!!! Good Luck!!! I did get into the October infirm action session!!

Thx so much for your reply! I feel a lot more encouraged now I will do a quick review and go give it a shot! Congrats on getting into the oct info session! I am not sure when they will have the next one, but I will definitely b aiming for that info session. Best wishes in the program!
