Hi my name is Kyle. I wanted to start a topic so students who applied for 2016 have a place to talk and ask question. I was in the program last year, but failed my first semester. I put my application in for 2016. Keeping my fingers crossed I get back in. Welcome and wish everyone good luck [emoji4]

I know what you mean about the distance. I would much rather go to BCC than any other school. I'm going to also apply to Massasoit I think. At the BCC info session, I believe they said they will send out letters in March. I hope it is sooner though! lol I can't wait.

I applied to the program for 2016 as well. It's my first time applying and my gpa is a 3.66 right now. I have most of my classes done (taking ap2 this spring) and if I get into the program I will take micro in the summer if it is offered. now, to be patient and wait.

Classes aren't up for the summer yet. if I get into the program I will take the class, if not I will wait until fall.

I also applied to BCC for the fall 2016 semester. Kyle, I seen that you were admitted into the program before, how long before we know whether or not we're accepted?

I've never checked my mailbox so often!! lol

same here! I have been checking degreeworks constantly as well as the mail! they say that priority goes to people with a 3.5 GPA but depending on how many have higher than mine gives me less of a chance to get in. If I don't get in this year I will finish up my AP2 class and then take micro and hopefully that will bring my GPA up and try again next year.

I want to say it was April when I saw my degreeworks change then by the end of that week, I got my letter. But it all depends ever year is different I hear.

Hi everyone,

I was so happy to see a new thread for 2016! It's my first time applying and I'm so excited and anxious. I have most of my classes done and am also taking A&P2 this semester. I've only applied to BCC, selected traditional as my first choice and eHealth as my second.

I had called admissions and was also told letters are sent in March or April. Trying to stay positive but waiting is the worst!
