Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2019

Hello everyone! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing students who will be applying into BCC's program for fall of 2019! What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current/former students, do you have any advice or insight on the program?

I had a 3.47 last year and was waitlisted #10 I since then re took 2 classes and got A’s so i am above a 3.50. I wasn’t chancing being waitlisted again. But... each year the applicant pool is different! I keep checking everyday multiple times a day lol! I just want to see i’m in and my anxiety is crazy high since the disappointment last year

Ok I couldn’t resist! But still no answers today. After this weekend by Monday we should definitely know ??? sending positive vibes to FALLRN3 this will be your year! I’m so nervous because almost every class when we introduced ourselves and explained why we were taking that particular course... about 70% of the class said it was for nursing ?

This wait is killing me!!! I keep checking multiple times a day. I couldn't get into degree works on Tuesday, so I called admissions and was told that decisions have been made but have not been sent out yet. I really hope that we don't have to wait until mid March.

I know what you mean rissa26. Every class I have taken (besides my Stats class), the majority of my classmates are interested in the nursing program. :/

I am hoping they post it tomorrow! I don’t think they would today! Don’t want to break any hearts on Valentines day! Good luck to all of you! It would be nice for us to all get in? Also you have to remember a lot of ppl are interested but might not all qualify! Just keep the faith! Happy Valentine’s day!!!❤️

I read in an earlier post that it could change after 7pm hahah ???. So if they said Tuesday decisions were made it has to be before the weekend . Ok well maybe not but I can hope . So far none of us have been rejected and I seen on old posts that those go out 1st? Happy Valentine’s to you all ?

So we still have an hour and a half that we could possibly find out today. Haha. I really don't want to have to wait another weekend. I am driving my husband crazy talking about the statistics of getting in. At the informational session that I went to last summer, we were told that out of the roughly 800 people that applied in 2017, only 200 were qualified. That might be even less with the new GPA requirements? Maybe? lol. I hope we all get in! Happy Valentine's Day! ?

I so hope you’re right! I can’t even imagine waiting another weekend, especially with it being a long weekend. That’s torture!

Ahhh I forgot it about the long weekend ? hopefully we’re celebrating during that time haha ?? Still early .. I wonder if they found out at night after update or something last yr
