Bridging Program in Australia

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

A friend told me it would take approximately 4-5 weeks processing of visa depending on the bulk of applicants. Where you from? I'm from Davao City.

Hi! i am also for August intake at AAON. I already submitted to them the agreement last monday and sent them the scanned copies of my bank drafts. however, i haven't received an update from them. :(

I fear that I won't be able to make it because according to the australian embassy in manila's site, it takes a minimum of 6 weeks for the to process a visitor visa. :(

you to call them and follow it up. i got my coe 2 days after i submited d requiremnts.

hi can i ask about the aaon vaccination form, regarding the PTB screening, did u do both xray and ppd?

because i want to do xray only. it is faster.

as far as i know, PPD is required, if your PPD is positive, thats the time the would ask for a negative xray result...

Hi there!yes they accepted PPD alone. I sent my scanned copy this morning and will send them the bank draft via courier later today.

so when we pass the scanned copy we need to call aaon to follow up the coe or they will send it directly? guys are u going to lodge ur visas online?
