I am a Canadian Citizen who finished BSN course in the Philippines(Oct09). I'm back here in Toronto and wanting to take CNRE. What do i need to accomplish? Thanks in advance.

Please send some tips to make this much easier.

Do i have to take NLE philippines exam?

I really appreciate any help or comments..

Apply to the nurses College in Ontario. It's up to them.

Read some of the threads that are sticked.

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

There are already many threads that discuss how nurses from the Philippines can become nurses in Canada and probably twice as many that discuss the CRNE. You will have to write and pass the NLE and register in the Philippines before you can be considered for registration in Canada. Being a Canadian citizen will mean very little in the process of becoming an RN in Canada because you've been educated in the Philippines.

Be aware that there are really not that many vacant positions anywhere right now.

This thread has been moved to the International Forum as it is not applicable to the majority of Canadian nurses, and it involves more of an immigration type of information.
