Bridging frm RPN to RN

Published

Graduated 2008. Applied to all available schools in Toronto (centennial, GB, Durham) but application denied because GPA low. Avg was abt 85%. Thats hardly low but school stated i needed 3.7 avg. Even if i upgrade no guarantee i will get into the program. Bridging programs are limited in Canada, very competitive and take abt 3yrs full time. Thinking of going to the states, more colleges offer program in less time. Does anyone know of any schools in the US were there are no international fee's. Please help?

If you were planning on coming back to Canada to work after bridging you would have to make sure that the bridging program was accepted up here.Did you only apply to those three bridging programs? There are more than that in Ontario. I doubt you would find a US school with no international fees.best of luck.

I will be surprised if you find something where you do not have to pay international fees, even people who are from out of state have to pay more than someone from the state so imagine this would be the same if from another country

Also moved to the International forum as asking about nursing schools in the US and not Canadian orientated
