Hi i am new to this whole thing but i have been reading all of the posts from people who have been accepted for fall 2014 and those who are still waiting for their acceptance letters. I received my acceptance letter at the end of january after being under review since the end of december. I was a nervous mess waiting for the letter after the status changed from "application under review" to "decision letter sent" i am so happy to see all of the posts from people who have also been accepted. This place seems like a great way to meet everyone before orientation in june!

Hi! I am joining you this year too! I know that BHSN is a tough school but I think if we get a head start of on the teamwork we will have become great nurses !
When did you hear that you were accepted? I have been on this site for the last 24 hours re-reading everyones comments, advice and the details about the program. I have also asked anyone I know who has already attended BHSN about every detail of the program. What their days were like, how they reccomended I study, and every other possible detail. I even started getting some of the books and reading them. As of now I am obsessed with the Saunders NCLEX review book 6th edition. I also bought "Test Success for First Year Nursing Students." I am almost done reading that book, since it is just about how to prepare yourself for your first year of nursing school and how to study for a test you do not need too much background information before reading it.
I found out a couple weeks ago. I am currently taking A&P 1 and micro, so I am not adding additional studying, just approaching those like nursing school.
Where are you taking your classes?
Middlesex.

I am also taking A and P I and Micro but trying to get A and P II out of the way over the summer before the fall classes start. I have some BHSN classmates in my micro class and was told if you want to use a laptop for notes grab a seat near the window because you may need an outlet and also stated a audio recorder is a good investment as some professors are fast talkers and using the recorder allows you to make sure you did not miss anything and you can go back and listen to the lecture again later. They also mentioned having a good email you can have access to like one set up on your phone because the professors utilize the sonis web site and email you often. Hope this is helpful.

I have been offered a seat at GCC today. I'll take it because of the commuting to BHSON. Where will you be going?
