Hello Everyone,I am becoming frustrated with my search to find a NP/DNP program that is in-class based versus online. I prefer brick & mortar. Can anyone list any programs they know of that is majority in-class. Thanks for the help!

The University of Virginia offers a BSN-DNP for Acute Care (NP and CNS) that is classroom based. All practica are at the UVa Medical Center (a 620-bed, Level I trauma center that is 1 block from the School of Nursing). Classes meet on Thursdays and Fridays for the APRN component of the program (the first 2 years) and once a month for the final year). It is also possible to pursue a dual Adult-Gerontology Acute Care CNS/NP program.
While we only offer the BSN-DNP in Acute Care at present, we hope to launch a BSN-DNP for Family, Pediatric, and Psychiatric-Mental Health NP preparation in fall 2015.
