Is anyone else applying for the part-time Spring 2014 term? Any full-time applicants?

Im scheduled to take it on Mon and Wed I believe. I heard that teacher was better so I switched my days.. I got a 70 on the kaplan last night so I am pretty happy I did that well without having A&P II..

You definitely have to pay the 40 dollar registration fee again.

I think I'm going to go for the 2015 term. I started my classes yesterday and since it's been 5 years since my first semester of chemistry, it might as well be in Chinese. I'm totally lost and feel super overwhelmed. Not sure if pushing through just for the sake of taking them is a good move since I feel that I will get a bad grade. :(

I understand how you feel about the classes. It was difficult for me going over the Chemistry part when I started taking A&P1. I had even thought about taking it back over but Brenau accepted my Chemistry. Whatever you decide, I wish you well! I am taking the Kaplan back over in June. Hopefully, it will not count against me but I would like a better score than what I received (68).

I changed my mind.. LOL!!! Thank you so much for understanding. I've been in tears for two days but today I attended both of my on-campus labs and I felt better about it. I decided to drop my art class because it would just take away from focusing on chemistry and I kept Chem and A&P (retaking because it expired... boo hoo!)

Anyway, the other thing that helped me make the decision to stick it out is that I had emailed ******** about the process for waiting until 2015 and she responded and said that they are adding 4 additional mandatory prerequisites for that term!!!!! I was horrified and honestly, just disgusted. I feel like having to take an art class to qualify for nursing school is stupid enough as it is. But then if I wait until 2015 and take my time with my other classes I have to take before I start, I'll be in the same boat I'm in anyway. I'll have to take Chem with other classes and end up being stressed out and more broke. LOL! So I decided to push through and whatever happens happens. Praying I will be able to handle organic chemistry this summer and actually get a competitive grade to reward my effort and stress. LOL!

Wow, 4 additional mandatory prereqs!! Admissions into these programs is not joke! I remember when I was in college for my first bachelors degree (2006), getting into nursing programs was not as competitive as now. Anyway, good luck!

Whatver you do, don't take CY-103 online. I'm taking it now. It is tough material already. Without a teacher, it is horrible.

Also, if you can edit your post, you may want to remove the Brenau staff member name. The admins of All Nurses are always on the lookout for that.

I don't know how to edit it either. They are pretty strict about that.

Yes, I am taking CY-103 Online now. Even the labs are online. I would much rather have a real class where we can discuss things.

They use a website called latenitelabs.com. You do simulated experiments. The labs actually aren't to bad.

Hello ladies, haven't logged in for a while. Hope you all doing well! :)

Joanne1212 welcome to the family and good luck with your classes. I read that you have a lot on your plate but hang in there, you can do it. I was actually shocked to read that they'll add 4 more prereqs on the curriculum for the next year's RN program (if I understood that correctly), so I pray to GOD to get in this time around. :-/

Joanne and Kbraswell do you mind sharing your GPAs with us? Further good luck with your classes and talk to you ladies soon!
