I ask this question every single time this subject comes up, but I don't get it. Why would anyone pay 5 times the tuition for a program that isn't even accredited and will severely limit your job opportunities? I DO NOT GET IT. Why would you even take the chance?

People love to live in the "now" without being mindful to what is available in the now; meaning, they want what they want what they want without critically thinking about the options, issues, and most certainly, the repercussions.

The Commuter is correct. Not only will you face roadblocks if you one day decide to further your education, but you will more than likely also find it difficult to find a floor position upon graduation and passing NCLEX- many hospitals require the school to be accredited by one of the nursing accreditation agencies.

Yes, the program is state-approved. Yes, you will be able to sit for your boards and receive an RN license if you pass NCLEX. However, the school is still unaccredited. Approval and accreditation are two different issues altogether.
