Congratulations! and GOOD LUCK on the NCLEX!
WE love people to help and share their experience and knowledge but remember help them to be the best nurse they can be...lead them in the right direction. Let them show you what their research has revealed to them. They will learn more by participating in their discovering their own path with a little guidance.

Congratulations! Which city did you finish at?
Thank you, I graduated from the tallahassee, Fl campus. What about you are you currently in a breckenridge program if so where and how is it and what semester your in, or are you interested in going.
I'm interested in going. How did you like the program? Do you feel like you were prepared for the NCLEX? Did you find a job right away? Any suggestions?
I actually am an Lpn and am currently employed. I enjoyed the program and flexibility as well as the knowledge and true compassion my instructor s have. They paid for kaplan for us and am currently studying for the nclex. I feel that it is what you make it and you take away what you put into. It is expensive but I was blessed to have my employer pay 100% of my tuition in exchange for two years of employment.
@williamsa do you think it would have been harder to find a job if you didn't have one already? I'm starting the Mobile, Al program in June and all the hospitals here are requiring their RN's to have "graduated from an accredited program". So I'm kind of torn and scared.
All hospitals say that but at the end of the day an RN is a RN. Also most of all students here from the previous classes and a couple who have taken boards already from my class are already employed in hospitals. Heck a few are D.O.N 's or A.D.O.N's. I say at least check it out it worked out for me, the college that had me on the waiting list called me a few months ago and asked was I still interested....lol. I was glad to say no thank you I've recently graduated.
Thanks for your advice...!

@williamsa- I am scheduled to take the HESI entrance exam for the Breckenridge Nursing program at ITT on 15Jul and am not concerned about the entrance exam as much as I am worried about picking the correct program (I am in Jacksonville, FL). I am exiting a 25yr banking career that I have hated and am about to be 43 and I don't have the 3 to 5 yrs to get into FSCJ. I have done almost 10mos of research and thought I was settled with my choice until I started reading all this negativity about going to a career college (for profit) . The reasons why I thought this would be a good program for me are: class is only 3d/w@ 4.5hrs/d which gives me plenty of study time which makes the program 2yrs (whereas I could go to Concorde 4d/wk for 5hrs/d and finish in 18mos but I feel that cramming could be my demise).
Also, the Breckenridge prgrm cost is $52k but after scholarships and grants, my worse case scenario financial responsibility will be $18k.
Do you have any advice or feedback on this for me?
Thanks!
