Breaks

Have only been working one month at LTC. Full time receives a 30 minute break and two 15 minute breaks per 8 hour shift. I usually get my 30 minute, but I don't get over half of my 15 minute breaks. Honestly, out of 10 a week I might get 2-3. I should further explain that the staff refers to these as smoke breaks. I asked last night why there is no time for me to get my two 15 minute breaks, let alone one of them, when it seems everyone else gets theirs. The response. You don't smoke do you? I don't want to create waves since I am not off my 90 day probationary period and these people are part of my review, but I don't think whether I smoke should be part of the equation. They are called breaks in the handbook, not smoke breaks. Just not sure how to handle this. If I don't say something now, it will continue. But I also don't want to rock the boat.
