I've heard that due to the lack of applicants apply to the nursing program at Broward college the administration decided not to make it a requirement any more. Personally, I didn't find the test to be that difficult. when i dropped my application off last week i heard only a dozen or more people handed in applications. Before they instituted the Hesi Exam they had about 900 applicants. i guess it made more sense for the school to discontinue since they lost all that free money from people paying Application fees. Just do the math and you'll see its a lot of Free money.
