I wonder how much longer the response from LSBN will be.

I am applying for the Spring 2018 semester. I've been teaching high school Biology and want to go back to school to finish my nursing degree. My GPA is 3.56, but I took all prerequisite courses at Southeastern (where I originally graduated from). If i retake my two B classes (A&P 1 and Engl) at BRCC this spring (2018) will the grades post in time to count towards the application?

Hello,
I am currently attending OLOL college. I'm transferring to BRCC For nursing. I have a few questions. I've already taken the HESI but not at BRCC do i have to retake it ? Also, I see it is better if you've taken classes at BRCC. Say that I retake some prerequisites at BRCC in the spring and apply in the same semester for nursing. Is that ok ? Also, what semesters can you start the nursing program ??

@Brewms95 I believe you will have to retake the HESI with BRCC, but I would recommend to contact the nursing adviser and ask her personally. For those applicants that passed the HESI, their application will be idle until spring semester grades are in. So yes you may take some pre-requisites in the spring, but make sure you do well. Once accepted to the program, you are randomly selected, from what I've heard, to begin either in the fall or spring. The class gets randomly split into two cohorts. But yes contact the adviser Christin Dillonr, she's very sweet. Good luck!
Okay so I would definitely retake classes at brcc. They give "bonus" points to students who take classes there. 2 points for each class.
& yes, 60 of you will get accepted & the 60 will be split into 2 groups, one to start that fall, the other starts the following spring. So like I was accepted June 2017 and scheduled to start spring 2018. We had orientation today, first day is Tuesday.
