Is there anyone applying to BRCC's nursing program for Fall 2016? I would like to talk to people who are so I don't feel so lonely.

Hi, where will you do the health/immunization work? Which one of the provided places in the package is cheaper?

I alread did mine at a sliding scale clinic in Livingston where my doctor is. Did all that back in April, lol. Try going to the sliding scale place they have on that paper, it is probably way cheaper than the others.

Did somebody get the health/immunization work done at Baton Rouge General Family Health Center? They told me they have no contract with BRCC now and we cannot get the discount price as before.

Can somebody recommend a place for health/immunization work?

@tigerup - I made an appointment with my Primary Health Physician for my physical. I called my OB and she ordered me an HIV test... Yours should be able to do that too. You will just have to go to a lab and have your blood taken for that exam. A lot of the immunization stuff should be up to date on your immunization record. Your PCP should be able to lead you in the direction for all of the other immunization tests. Normally they will just order the test for you and you will go to a lab to have them administered. If you don't have a PCP, I think there was a list on our instructions of places that will do the exams for you.

@emharsh21. Thank you. I do not have a PCP and health insurance. I went to the places suggested in the admission package, but they cannot do all the work or do not want to do it. Anyway, I will find a place.
