BRCC Nursing Applicants for Fall 2014

Hey everyone! I just turned in my application for the Fall of 2014 a couple of days ago. I take the HESI in a little over a week! I am super nervous and full of anxiety, haha. I was just wondering what GPA everybody else is applying with and how many pre-reqs were taken at BRCC

Hi. Yes I am taking psyc 201 this summer. I hope we get our letters earlier in June. I would hate to complete this class for nothing. I'm very optimistic though.

It seems like these last couple of weeks have gone by soooooooooo slow! lol! Do you mind if I ask how your GPA and hesi score was?

I'm applying with 3 A's and 2 B's(alg and A and P). I had an 88.5 on the HESI.

me too!!!! I'm sure everyone in the Baton Rouge/Zachary area will receive something before me. I'm in Pointe Coupee Parish so I normally get mail a day or two after BR people. :)

Have any of you heard anything about certified letters equaling acceptance and regular mailing envelopes meaning rejection?

pretty sure the acceptance letters came in regular ole stamped envelopes! Keep in mind for those planning June vacations. . . if you're accepted, there is a form that needs to be signed and turned in within a certain amount of time- I'd like to say it was less than a week last year (received the letter on Friday and the deadline was that next Wednesday!) I remember hearing of a couple people that had to rush home from the beach just to turn the form in! So if you're going somewhere, don't go far!

wow! That doesn't give people much time! lol! Hopefully no letters get lost in the mail.
