Brand of graduated compression stockings?

Nurses Uniform/Gear

One of the threads I saw on this topic was a while ago, so lets get an update.

I just got sclerotherapy for some spider veins and varicose veins (im only 25, so they weren't too bad yet, nothing "bulging" but they were pretty visible), and have been wearing Futuro brand thigh high 18-20mmHg strength stockings since the procedure.

the doctor who did it simply told me "make sure they are medical grade compression".

I will be adamant about wearing them on days i work on the floor.

Honestly, besides the post procedural swelling/bruising/soreness, my legs overall feel better at the end of the work day after wearing these.

To the nurses who wear compression stockings for prevention/maintenance of spider and varicose veins: which brand do you prefer and what strength? Thanks in advance!

I recommend the Physix Gear Compression Socks, which doesn't feel the sultryness of the legs during exercise because its fabric is 80% nylon and 20% spandex, very breathable. Although it is not ranked first in the men's compression socks brand review, it is still worth it.

Specializes in ER, TNCC.

I like Footloose and Laite Hebe compression socks, I get mine from Amazon. I find it easier to search for navy blue socks to match my scrubs there. For NYC winter's I like MIXSNOW's socks, also found on Amazon
