Bradley County Area questions

Published

We may be moving to Warren, Ak. I am an RN currently working a NICU II in SC. The hospitals near Warren are listed as: Bradley County Medical, Drew Memorial, dallas County Medical, Ashley County medical.

Can any tell me anything about these or any others in and around Warren. Such info as pay, benefits, NICU units, etc.

Cygni519 how are you liking ortho, its weird I read your post before but didn't realize you are just across the hall from me, work 2nw last 2 years, and just got hired on in the nursery with my temp. RN license. Taking boards July 7th, so hopefully it will not be temp, but permenant after that.

Hey Penny....

I am really liking Ortho, enjoy the people I work with and I swear I learn something new every day....LOL!!! The ONE thing is being cancelled because of low census.....and since it is the ONLY floor I've worked at JRMC I must admit feeling anxious about floating to another floor....it's a little scary but will have no choice if I continue to lose my hours. And the drive get's pretty old after a while....but really value the experience I am getting. You also replied to my "failure" post and I want to thank you for your response (must admit I chuckled at the thought of patient with bed in tow in the bathroom....LOL) and I am more careful every day. Do you live in Pine Bluff or commute?

Yeah the cancellations are tough when you need to work. Are you JSS or full time?

I live in Pine Bluff now, but use to live in Star City, so I just about had to commute 30 to 45 minutes anywhere I worked. Except the one time I worked at the mental health for about 4 years, until a patient decided to throw me across the table when I tried to give her her daily meds:eek: . Then I started commuting again.
